Designed From the Communities I’m Part Of
3D Art Lab creates original 3D-printed collectibles and artwork inspired by music festivals, ski mountains, golf courses, racetracks, and the experiences we never want to forget.
Some pieces preserve the memory. Others become part of the moment.
Our story
3D Art Lab began in my apartment bedroom in Dallas, where I used a single 3D printer to turn my architectural design skills into physical artwork. At the time, I was working as an architect and creating pieces inspired by the places, events, and interests that mattered most to me.
What started as a personal creative outlet eventually became a full-time business. I left architecture, moved 3D Art Lab to Austin, and grew the operation into a print farm with more than two dozen machines.
Today, I still personally design every product, develop each new idea, and guide the creative direction of the brand. Even as the business has grown, the purpose has stayed the same: create objects that mean more because they are rooted in something real.
Two ways to make a memory physical
Our products are designed to do more than represent the communities surrounding them. They help preserve the experiences people already treasure and create new moments worth remembering.
-
Preserve the experience
Our maps and display artwork transform meaningful places into physical memories. Festival grounds, ski mountains, golf courses, racetracks, stadiums, and cities become detailed pieces that bring people back to the experiences that shaped them.
-
Create the moment
Our Memory Capsules and community collectibles are designed to become part of the experience itself. They are carried, gifted, traded, displayed, and used in meetups and side quests that turn a shared interest into a real-world connection.
Designed with expertise. Built from genuine passion.
-
Professional design experience
My background as a professionally trained designer and former architect gives me the skills to transform complex ideas, places, and cultural details into carefully considered physical objects.
-
Designed from the inside
I only design for communities and interests I genuinely participate in. That firsthand understanding helps each piece feel specific, culturally informed, and made by someone who actually gets it.
-
Made through 3D printing
3D printing makes it possible to create forms, details, and interactive objects that traditional merchandise cannot. Every design is developed, prototyped, refined, and produced through our growing Austin print farm.
More than merchandise
The best physical objects do more than fill a shelf or decorate a wall. They can bring someone back to an unforgettable weekend, help strangers become friends, turn a gift into a lasting story, or make people feel more connected to a community they love.
That is what I want every 3D Art Lab product to do. Whether it preserves an old memory or helps create a new one, it should feel meaningful long after the moment has passed.
