The Headbanger Memory Capsule is a functional, 3D-printed collectible inspired by Excision and made for the Headbangers. Give your wristbands, kandi, and little gifts from the crowd a home that brings you right back to the shows, festivals, and people you collected them from.
Keep one on your shelf for yourself, or give one to the friend who's been throwing down beside you for years.

Inspired by the X
The design starts with Excision's unmistakable X and builds outward from there.
The upper shell is covered in repeating black-and-white X-shaped lines that wrap around the capsule, creating a layered pattern inspired by the massive visuals and production behind his shows. A metallic silver band separates the upper and lower shells, while a small gold center button adds the only warm accent to the otherwise monochrome design.
Press the center button to open it, tuck your keepsakes inside, and set it on the included white stand.
Why I Made It
I've been a fan of Excision and bass music for years, but Lost Lands made me appreciate just how much bigger the community around it has become.
The production is obviously insane. Dinosaurs, lasers, pyro, drone shows, massive stages, and enough bass to shake everything around you. But after spending time there, the part that stuck with me most wasn't any of that. It was the people.
For music this aggressive, the community surrounding it can be unbelievably kind. People look out for strangers, pick each other up, trade kandi, give away little gifts, and make friends in the middle of a crowd.
That's exactly why I started making Memory Capsules.
I originally designed the Headbanger Capsule to bring with me to Lost Lands and give away to other fans. The idea was simple: make something that could create a memory in the moment, then give that person somewhere to keep the little pieces of those experiences afterward.
It's for the friend who's never missing the Excision set, the stranger you spent an hour headbanging beside, the Lost Lands regular, or just your own shelf after a really good weekend.
A Home for What You Brought Back
The approximately 2.5-inch interior holds small keepsakes such as:
- Festival and show wristbands
- Kandi and friendship bracelets
- Pins, charms, and small gifts
- Folded notes from friends
- Rings and other small mementos
Fill it with your own memories, or tuck a little surprise inside before giving it to someone who gets it.
Made in Austin
Each capsule is 3D printed, hand-finished, and packed by my independent studio in Austin, Texas.
The colors are printed directly into the design using colored PLA filament. Visible layer lines and small surface variations are natural characteristics of the 3D-printing process.
Production and Shipping
Every capsule is made to order. Please allow approximately 2 to 4 weeks from your order date for production before shipment.
Shipping typically takes an additional 3 to 5 days after dispatch. Transit times can vary by destination and carrier. You'll receive tracking when your order is on its way.
Please account for both production and transit time when ordering for a show, festival, or gift.
Care
- Keep away from prolonged high heat.
- Do not leave inside a hot vehicle.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.
- Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not force the opening mechanism.
